Publication Ethics

We make every effort to ensure high quality scholarship in all published articles and conference papers published by us. This means that we consider best practices such as peer review, anti-plagiarism control, and adherence to industry standard ethical practices and guidelines to be matter of course, and therefore mandatory.

Publishing Ethics and Malpractice Statement Summary

We require our authors to ensure that their research is original, accurate, and does not contain plagiarism or falsified data. We also require authors to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their research or the peer review process.

We require our reviewers to provide objective and constructive feedback on manuscripts, and to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality. We also ensure that the review process is conducted in a confidential and anonymous manner.

Peer Review

Each manuscript submitted for publication in Raiya Academic journals undergoes academic peer review prior to final decision. Submitted articles are checked against a set of criteria before agreeing to publish.

The peer review process typically involves the following steps:

  • Initial assessment: Upon submission of a manuscript, our editorial team reviews the manuscript to ensure that it meets the basic standards of quality and relevance for the journal. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors without being sent for peer review.
  • Peer review: Manuscripts that meet the basic standards are sent out for peer review to at least two independent experts in the field. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and reputation in the field, and are asked to provide feedback on the quality, rigor, and significance of the research.
  • Editorial decision :Based on the feedback from reviewers, the editorial team makes a decision on whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to the manuscript. Authors are provided with constructive feedback on their manuscript, regardless of the outcome of the review.
  • Revision: If revisions are requested, authors are given an opportunity to revise their manuscript in response to the reviewers’ comments. Revised manuscripts are then sent back to the reviewers for further evaluation.
  • Final decision: After revisions have been made, the editorial team makes a final decision on whether to accept the manuscript for publication.

To ensure transparency and accountability in the peer review process, we provide authors with a clear explanation of the review process, including the number of reviewers, their identities (if possible), and the criteria used to evaluate manuscripts. We also encourage reviewers to disclose their identities to authors, if they feel comfortable doing so.

We believe that upholding ethical standards in the peer review process is essential for maintaining the integrity and credibility of scholarly publishing. We are committed to promoting transparency, fairness, and accountability in our peer review process, and to providing our reviewers with the guidance and support they need to conduct high-quality and ethical peer reviews.

Plagiarism

Whenever an academic scholar uses the ideas or findings previously published by another author, then proper credit should be given, usually by quoting a short passage from the original paper and then by a formal cited reference at the end of the paper. Even re-using one’s own previously published work should be acknowledged and cited in the same way.

Raiya Academic routinely verifies the originality of content submitted using Turnitin against previous publications. In cases where Similarity Check detects more than 20% similarity, then our editorial staff ask the academic editor for an explanation and a suitable solution is found. The solution is usually either a re-submission or removal of the paper.

Any kind of unethical behaviour is not acceptable, and Raiya Academic does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. Authors submitting articles for publication in journals associated with Raiya Academic affirm that manuscript contents are original.

We publish all content under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license.

In short, under this license, authors retain ownership of the copyright for their content, but it also allows anyone to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content as long as the original authors and source are cited.

We have chosen this license because we have evaluated it as being fair to both authors and readers.

Archiving Policy

To preserve scholarly literature published in electronic form and to ensure that these materials remain available to future generations of scholars and researchers, Raiya Academic content is archived in Portico, a not-for-profit organization with a mission and singular focus to provide a permanent archive of electronic scholarly content. Portico representative offices are located in New York, New Jersey, and Michigan.

Our journals also use LOCKSS and CLOCKSS system which serves as an inter-library distributed archiving system. Our journals use these systems with the aim of making permanent archives for the preservation of journals’ content.

Open Access

Readers have free and open access to all content.

Our journals are completely open access; research articles, reviews, and other information on journals’ platforms platform are available to everyone for free.
